I've always found your poetry to be like a perfectly steeped cup of tea Kat. This post, however, was like broth...nourishing in a way you didn't know you needed until you took a long draught. I'll see you over at Tending the Depths.
I adore your honesty and the way you share all of this. I would love to meet you over in Tending The Depths... it sounds like medicine. I hope you enjoy some space and rest over the next little while. Xx
Oh Kat, this is so good. I have so many thoughts. You articulated so much about this season so well and I love how you’ve shared the way you’re navigating it. I’m sorry for your months of struggling, for your feelings of worthlessness, for the way we are told to turn ourselves in knots for online life and business. The in person poetry workshops for the parents sound amazing…gosh, I love Maine. Parents reading poetry together; I want to witness this someday. And I’m glad you have a bundle of chamomile, a companion of mine too.
Thank you so much, Ema. No doubt, Maine loves you too! I hope to write with you in person one day not so long from now, and share a few poems while we're at it.
I resonate with so much of this Kat. Your description of nestling back into real life for a while is so alluring. Enjoy your time. I find my most creative self turns up when I stop pushing so hard for a while and turn off some of the noise. You have inspired me. thank you
Cheers to a bit more quite! So glad to be getting to know you in the virtual realm, Nelly. Your work always hits like a cup of whatever it is I need... tea, coffee, water etc.

Thank you Asia, it means a great deal to know this work lands where it's needed. I so look forward to talking poetry & motherhood with you!

Thank you so much Lauren. And I so look forward to meeting you!

What a kind thing to say. Yes, so lovely to connect with you too x
How COOL that you're going to design poetry workshops for the kids' parents at your new gig! Lucky them! Love you, cousin! <3
Thank you Jilli-B! I'm so excited :) Love you!!
